Final

Practical Final
For our practical final, we had to take the picture below and go through the workflow to fix it. The second picture is the end result.

Project #5

Series Project
For our final project we had to create a unified series of photos.

Project #4

Manipulation Project
For this project we had to take photos and use photoshop to change them. The first one was done with a filter which makes the picture look like it was wrapped in plastic. You can erase part of it, or leave the whole photo covered. The second one is called blending, where we created a negative version of the image as the background, and then layed the positive version on top but used the filters to change the way it looks. Then we had to blend the two images together so that both layers show in the final. The third one is done with multiple images, taking one and overlaying it on top of another to create a photo with a different story.

Project #3

Design Project
For this we focused on different design elements for each picture, making it the most dominant element. For the texture one we were to capture a texture that you would know by looking at the photo. For the line picture we had to use line as the primary element, with it drawing your eye through the picture. And for the last one, point of view was the dominant element, where we were to capture something from a point of view that you don't normally see.
Texture
F/stop: 11
Shutter Speed: 1/40
Focal Length: 28mm

Line
F/stop: 4
Shutter Speed: 1/40
Focal Length: 34mm
Point of View
F/stop: 5
Shutter Speed: 1/10
Focal Length: 55mm

Project #2

Motion Project
We adjusted the shutter speed for this project. The first one is frozen time, where we had to catch a moment that you normally wouldn't see frozen. The second one is blurred motion, showing that time has elapsed during the photo. And the third is panning, where we followed a moving subject, causing the background to blur while they stay in focus.

Frozen Action
F/stop: 4.5
Shutter Speed: 1/1000
Focal Length: 32mm

Blurred Motion
F/stop: 4.5
Shutter Speed: 1/5
Focal Length 34mm

Panning
F/stop: 4
Shutter Speed: .4
Focal Length: 28mm

Project #1

Depth of Field project
For this we adjusted the aperture settings to change what was in focus. With the shallow depth picture the background is blurred out, but with the total depth picture the whole thing is in focus.

Shallow Depth
F/stop: 4
Shutter Speed: 1/60
Focal Length: 32mm

Total Depth
F/stop: 14
Shutter Speed: 1/40
Focal Length: 34mm
